Psychology study of Built Environment Design: Approaching or Leaving?

In designing hospitality project ALTA Integra implements psychology study of Stimulus Organism Response Model (SOR) by Mehrabian and Russel 1974. The study said that external “STIMULUS” such as Design, Ambient and Social Factors, will influence “ORGANISM” or an emotional state that excites Pleasure, Arousal, and Dominance (PAD). This emotional state will ignite “RESPONSE” action to approach the place if the person sense pleasure, feels arouse, and finally decide to approach because of a dominant thought.

Design and Ambient factors in STIMULUS are Interior design, Color palette, Lighting design, and Soundscape design. Alta Integra integrates harmonious blending between those factors in designing an inviting VIP Karaoke Place. Architectural Building Physics such as Acoustic, Lighting, Thermal, and Air Quality play important role in making a better space for human-being. Let’s join our mission to share this belief and passion to make our world a better place.
