Indonesia Arena Acoustics: Modeling vs. Field Measurements
This video presents ALTA Integra’s acoustic modeling, auralization, and comparison with field measurements for Indonesia Arena, the Gelora Bung Karno Indoor Multifunction Stadium (GBK IMS) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The project comparison examines predicted and measured reverberation times before and after the installation of acoustic treatment. Results are presented across low-, mid-, and high-frequency ranges, showing how the modeled acoustic response compares with the reported conditions on site.
The video also introduces auralization: a listening simulation that allows owners, users, and designers to hear a representation of the predicted acoustic environment. This helps connect technical acoustic parameters with an understandable listening experience.
For architects, acoustic consultants, engineers, developers, and venue operators, the project illustrates the value of connecting design predictions with field evaluation.
